Blue, Red & Yellow are colours that are often associated with school photos were used by the amazing Alicia Redshaw in a Father & Son layout with our exclusive Cats &Dogs, Grunge Street and Magical Memories collections. This layout is quite simple with few embellishments and a multi-layered background frame so then the precious memory of this moment is not only preserved but is featured. From the grungy vellum to the papers being similar to the colour in the photos; or from the handful of painted, acrylic stars to the chippie-title, ‘Best Dad Ever’, the memory of Quentin reading to Noah with him joining in on the characters voices is at the forefront of this scrapbook layout.
Alicia used her framing technique (hackin’ a hole in the middle of the page) to remove the heaviness from the backing sheets and also used a small paint brush to add the desired Mont Marte Metallic Paint colour to the title and stars to avoid gulps and pumps. Overall, this bright scrapbook page was finished with a flair to add the extra coolness the page needed to express that Quentin is the best dad and the coolest EVER …… (well at least in Milton’s, Naomi-Jon’s, Noah’s & Amelia-Ann’s opinion).
